Lafayette, LA –
Join us Saturday, April 18 from 10am-1:30pm for
STEM Saturday: Biodiversity – Secrets of Life in the Deep, sponsored by a grant from
Halliburton. UL Lafayette Biology students led by Dr. Craig McClain will be at UL Lafayette Science Museum with extra activities all about marine biology. Learn about the intricacies of ocean life and deep sea organisms and what they teach us about the complexities of life on Earth and beyond.
STEM Saturday activities are included with regular museum admission. Activities are open-ended allowing visitors to come and go while touring exhibits and the planetarium. Best for elementary and middle school ages, but older kids and adults can have fun learning something new or helping younger children.
