Lafayette, LA

Celebrate Endangered Species Day at UL Lafayette Science Museum with U.S. Fish and Wildlife and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries this Saturday, May 17 from 10am-2pm. We’ll have interactive games, hands-on activities, demonstrations and games all about Louisiana wildlife conservation success stories. Endangered Species Day marks the anniversary of the Endangered Species Act, which was enacted in 1973 to establish protections for fish, wildlife and plants listed as threatened or endangered and plan for their recovery
