Lafayette, LA –
Travel back in time during our upcoming event STEM Saturday: Build Your Own Dinosaur on Saturday, June 13 from 10 am-1:30pm. Young paleontologists can design and build their own dinosaur while learning how special features like horns, spikes, tails and long necks helped dinosaurs survive in different environments. This hands-on activity combines creativity, engineering, and science for a fun challenge perfect for all ages.
STEM Saturday activities are included with regular museum admission. Activities are open-ended allowing visitors to come and go while touring exhibits and the planetarium. Best for elementary and middle school ages, but older kids and adults can have fun learning something new or helping younger children.
