STEM Saturday 11/8

Discover the Power Beneath Your Feet: Plate Tectonics in Action
Join us for a hands-on STEM event that explores the dynamic forces shaping our planet! Guests will learn how Earth’s plates move, collide, and reshape the surface over time through interactive demonstrations and real rock samples.

Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this event will uncover the science behind earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountain formation. Don’t miss this chance to dive into geology and experience the shifting Earth like never before! These activities are included with general admission.

STEM Saturday activities are sponsored by a grant from Halliburton and are included with regular museum admission. Activities are open-ended allowing visitors to come and go while touring exhibits and the planetarium. Best for elementary and middle school ages, but older kids and adults can have fun learning something new or helping younger children. #halliburtongiving
