Documentary Date Night 1/29

Join us at UL Lafayette Science Museum for Documentary Date Night – a free screening of the documentary film “Your Inner Fish.” Popcorn is a must, but the date is optional for this chance to see a science-focused film at the museum. Who says date night can’t be educational? Doors open at 6:30 pm, film begins at 7 pm. A discussion will follow. Concessions will be available for sale (cash only). Admission to the film is FREE thanks to our event sponsors Aqueos Corporation.
About the film: How did your body become the complicated, quirky, amazing machine it is today? Anatomist Neil Shubin uncovers the answers in this new look at human evolution. Using fossils, embryos and genes, he reveals how our bodies are the legacy of ancient fish, reptiles and primates — the ancestors you never knew were in your family tree.
