Documentary Matinee June 28 and 29 at 4 pm
We are pleased to announce a new event this summer called Documentary Matinee. At this fun event, we’ll show a documentary film in the museum. Bring a date, bring a friend or just yourself for an afternoon at the museum. Attendance for the educational film screening is free with regular museum admission. On Saturday, June 28 and June 29 at 4 pm, we will screen the documentary Why Dinosaurs? A dinosaur obsessed kid and his filmmaker father travel the world interviewing paleontologists about the latest research, digging up 150-million-year-old bones, and meeting dino fanatics of all walks of life. Why Dinosaurs delves deep into the cultural and emotional reasons behind our timeless fascination with these ancient creatures.
