Tools for an immersive visit. When touring the Lafayette Science Museum, your group will be self-guided. While staff members are available to offer assistance as needed, teachers are responsible for establishing learning goals and chaperones are responsible for ensuring students know the learning goals during their time at the Museum.
Lafayette Science Museum has a collection of Science Kits available for educators to check out and use in their classrooms. The kits are free and are loaned out for 2 week periods, with a renewal option. Teachers can pick up and return the kits at the front desk of LSM during open hours. Contact Edi Gilbert for scheduling: 337-291-5483 or egilbert@lafayettela.gov.
