Copy of STEM Saturday 7/11

STEM Saturday: Astronomy will be held on July 11 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. It will feature safe solar telescope viewing and activities about the sun spots and the sun. This hands-on activity combines creativity, engineering, and science for a fun challenge perfect for all ages.

STEM Saturdays are made possible through a grant from Halliburton. Held once a month, these events provide extra educational activities focused on a science topic and are included with regular museum admission. The open-ended nature of the activities allow visitors to come and go while exploring museum exhibits and the planetarium. Geared toward elementary and middle school age groups, all ages are welcome. Adults and older children can have fun learning and helping younger children.
